During a recent project photographing Christ Church in Philadelphia for a virtual tour we were fortunate to be able to take some time to capture a few extra 360 degree scenes including this one taken of the burial grounds in the backyard of Christ Church. Christ Church and its Burial Ground receives 250,000 tourist visitors each year and is among the most frequently visited sites in the Philadelphia region.

While Christ Church is a popular site for tourists, it is not a museum or simple historical house. Instead, Christ Church is an “active site” performing church services regularly just as it has done for over 300 years.

Christ Church and the burial ground pictured here are located at 20 N. American Street Philadelphia, PA. The Christ Church Burial Ground, where Benjamin Franklin, 4 other signers of the Declaration of Independence and many others are buried, is located at Arch Street between 4th & 5th Philadelphia, PA.
