It was a real pleasure working with Adventure Aquarium to create a high quality virtual tour that would enhance their online presence, showcase the beauty, flexibility and interactivity of their venue, and help increase ticket sales.

Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ is a truly wonderful local attraction for people of all ages. The aquarium is a great place for families to spend the day together to enjoy watching and learning about a variety of different animals. In addition, Adventure Aquarium is a unique venue for events like weddings or other large parties.

The virtual tour of the aquarium is comprised of 16, HDR, 360 degree panoramic images. Within the images, a user can choose to “walk through” to the next panorama by clicking on an embedded link (also known as a “hot spot”). The map of the aquarium was also included in the virtual tour so that a user can navigate to different areas in the 360 tour easily .

Another important feature of the virtual tour is the custom viewer. The viewer can be thought of as the frame the 360 degree images sit in. It was designed to accurately represent Adventure Aquarium’s branding and to compliment the look and feel of their website. As a way to help entice users to visit the aquarium in person after experiencing the virtual tour online, we added a call to action button to “buy tickets now” in the top right. We wanted the button to be noticeable enough for users to be aware of it and yet discrete enough so that they would enjoy the virtual tour experience.
