On a recent trip back home from the Adirondack Wild Center in Tupper Lake we stopped off at the scenic overlook in Newcomb, New York. From this point you used to be able to see many of the Adirondack high peaks. However, now, much of view is obstructed by tall trees and only the highest of mountains are in sight.
